Notes: In the 1900 U.S. census, John H. Ellison, 57, and his wife, Sarah E. Ellsion, were living
in the Cedar Township, Carroll, Arkansas. John was a gardener, and owned the house free of mortgage.
There were two daughters, Mary, 39, a washwoman, and Becky McFarren, [incorrect age]. It is doubtful that
Mary was was actually a daughter. The granddaughters were Altie McFarren, 2, and Bessie McFarren,
4 months. Also in the household was Pearl Meeds, 22, incorrectly listed as a granddaughter. |
