Notes: Dennis attended Napa schools, graduated from Napa High School in 1955 and
later received his Associate of Arts degree from Napa Junior College. In the late 1950s Dennis joined the U.S. Army as a military policemen and served at Fort Ord and later in Frankfurt, Germany. For many years Dennis worked the Lake Berryessa region as one of the "original" park rangers for Napa County. He was a huge resource for young deputies who worked Lake Berryessa. He taught not just the technical aspects of the job, but also getting to know the people that live and work at the lake. He also taught the importance of hard work and to also "do the the right thing". Following his retirement in 1989, he thoroughly enjoyed his retirement years by working part time with his friends at Pridmore Brothers Construction Company as well as gardening, hunting, cooking, and baking bread — which he generously shared with family and friends. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
