Notes:  Bill Rumble reported that he saw what he believes to be Inez's diary.  That indicates that Inez had spent a period of time studying to become an officer in the Salvation Army.  The pages were reflections on the meaning of scripture, duties performed in the Army, etc.  Inez did not, he believes, go on to become an officer (perhaps due to her divorce from John) but the diary made for interesting reading.  He guesses that Inez' spiritual calling came from the example of William and Sarah Rumble, her in-laws.
