Notes: Thomas was born in Kenton County, Kentucky, in 1842. He devoted his years to
running his business as a farmer. During the Civil War he was in the Confederate
Army under General Kirby Smith. Thomas was a Democrat and a member of the
Odd Fellows. *Thomas died in Oct 1920 and was originally buried at the Bird Cemetery in Kenton County. His son, Dr. Robert Lee Bird Sr., later moved his father's remains to Highland Cemetery at Fort Mitchell, also in Kenton County. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
