Notes: The photograph at the right probably shows Frank and Velma in the mid-1940s, but the
photo may be of other unknown persons.
Shortly after World War II, Frank and Velma moved from Sacramento to Placerville,
California. Later they moved to a remote area west of Placerville in
El Dorado County where Frank served as a PG&E ditch tender for many years.
After leaving El Dorado County, they briefly lived at the remote PG&E facilities
at Bucks Lake were Frank worked as a year-around trouble-shooter. They moved
to Paradise in 1956 and subsequently to the small community of Nimshew in 1964.
Frank and Velma were married for 66 years. |
