Mr. John Wright, son of Mr. James Wright, butcher, was married on Wednesday to Miss Nellie Hancock, at the residence of Mrs. Trenneman, by the pastor of the Baptist church, the Rev. C. N. Mitchell. Mr. Geo. Wright, of Petrolea, acted as the best man, while Miss Maud Hancock assisted the bride. The young couple will take up their residence on Bradley street. Pg ?. col. 4: MARRIED. In Forest, on Wednesday, Feb 12th inst., by the Rev. C. N. Mitchell, Mr. John Wright, of this place, to Miss Nellie P., second daughter of Thos. Hancock, Esq., of Bosanquet. Note: These two newspaper articles both incorrectly give the bride's name as Nellie P. Hancock. The official marriage registration and a subsequent birth registration give her name as Nellie Matilda Hancock. | ||||
