Mrs. Rumble, who made her home at 1436 G Street, was a native of Toronto, Canada. She came to the United States as a child and took up residence in Napa as a young woman with her husband, Sgt. Major William Rumble, Salvation Army leader. A daughter, the late Jessie Rumble, was also active in Army work in Napa for over 50 years. Surviving in addition to the husband are three sons: Irving and John Rumble of Napa and Everett Rumble of the U.S. Army Air Corps. Funeral services were conducted at the Treadway Chapel by the Salvation Army. | ||
