Notes: In the 1930 U.S. census, Hans and Lilly Miller were living at 37 Ford Avenue,
Fords, Woodbridge Twp., Middlesex, New Jersey. This was a suburb of Perth
Amboy. They had two daughters, ages 7 and 2½. Hans was a plant
foreman. They owned their home, which had a value of $6,500. They also
had a radio. In the 1940 U.S. census, Hans was a shipping foreman, and had
earned $2,700. in 1939. The house was now valued at only $4,000. |
