Notes: In 1901, Walter James Baker was living with his wife, Sarah Margaret Murray, and
two children in the Rural Municipality of Cornwallis, Manitoba. Walter was
a farmer, and had been born in Ontario. His wife Sarah had been born in the
United States. Their two children were twins, Stella Elizabeth Baker and
Stanley Ernest Baker, born 4 Apr 1896 in the Rural Municipality of
Cornwallis. Living with the family was John Murray, Sarah's father, and
two boarders. In 1906, the family was living in the
City of Brandon. In 1911, still in Brandon, Walter was an engineer.
By 1916, the family was back to farming near Brandon in Twp. 9, R. 18, W 1st. M.
