Notes: In 1871, Francis Flock and his wife Jane were living in Binbrook, Wentworth County (South)
with his four (4) children from his first marriage. Francis was a farmer, born in
Ontario, but whose parents had been born in the United States. Jane was from
Scotland. They were married 16 Mar 1871. The family was listed as
Presbyterian. By 1881, Francis Flock and his wife Jane had had six children of
their own, including a set of twins. In 1891, five (5) more children had been
added to the family including two more sets of twins.
John Alexander Flock and his twin Murray were five years old, and the youngest
in the family. The children shown below were the family as found in the 1891
census. Only Alice was from the first marriage.
By 1901, James and Alice had left the household. Sometime before 1911. the family
moved to Burlington, Halton County, Ontario. |
