Notes: In the 1920 USA census, Sam G. Johnston, age 41, born in Missouri, and his wife
Ida M. Johnston, age 38, born in Kansas, were living at 222 Fourth Street North,
Idaho Falls, Idaho. Sam was a laborer, working for a transfer company.
They had five children living with them. Their two sons, Leonard, age 17,
and Leon, age 15, were teamsters in construction. Their daughters, Ruth, age 14,
and Viola, age 10, attended school. All had been born in Kansas. Their youngest
daughter, Faye, age 5, had been born in California. Also in the household was
Ida's father, Edward J. Belden, age 62, born in Pennsylvania.
Various members of the family moved to California, and Sam, Ida, Leonard, Leon and
Faye are buried in the Live Oak Memorial Park, Monrovia, California.
