Notes: In the 1920 USA census, Edward, age 31, born in Iowa, and Emily Chaloupek, age 23,
born in Illinois, were living in Chelsea, Tama, Iowa.. Edward was a salesman,
working in a store. They had a daughter Virginia, age 5, born in Iowa.
Also living with the family was his father, John Chaloupek, age 66, born in Bohemnia,
now the Czech Republic.
In the 1925 Iowa State census, there was the addition of a son, A.J.(John) age 4.
The home was valued at $4,000., and insured for $2,000.
In the 1930 USA census, Edward was a merchant in a general store, working
on his own account. The family owned their home, valued at $2,500. and they had a
