Notes: In the 1910 U.S. census, J.E. [John Elof] Ellerson, 25, and his wife Gertrude Ellerson, 21,
were living on Lincoln Street, Marquette, located in McPherson County, Kansas. Both born in
Kansas, they had been married 3 years. Their daughter Gwendolyn, 2, was also born in Kansas.
Gertrude's father C. Kramer, 72, born in Pennsylvania, was living in the household. John was a
salesman for a grocery store, and the family was renting their house.
In the 1915 Kansas census, Marquette, J.E. Ellerson, 30, and Gertrude, 26, were enumerated with two
children, Gwendolyn, 7, and Ellsmore, 1, all born in Kansas. John was a resturant keeper.
