Notes:  Helen Eckholm was born 3 May 1906 in Faulkton, South Dakota.  Her parents were Elmer and Rose Eckholm.  She had an older brother named Les or Theo, born about 1904.  In the 1910 U.S. census, her family was living in Township 133, Billings, North Dakota.  Her father was a cement contractor.  Her younger brother Gerald was born about 1914.  In the 1920 U.S. census, the family was living in Marmarth, Slope, North Dakota. Her father was now a clerk for the railroad.  Her older brother was a telephone operator.  Earl Robertson, age 1½ was listed as a boarder in the household.  In the 1925 North Dakota State census, the family was still living in Marmarth.

In the 1930 U.S. census, Helen was rooming with a young couple, Victor L. and Vesta C. Gilbreath, in Mott, Hettinger, North Dakota.  Helen was an auditor for the County of Hettinger.

Helen Noble, Janet Noble, Jim Noble, Joan Noble Helen married Andrew Kenneth Noble sometime before 1935.  He went by his middle name Kenneth.  In the 1940 U.S. census, she and Kenneth were living in Mott.  Helen had completed 4 years of high school.  She was now the deputy treasurer for the County of Hettinger, and had earned $860. in the prior year.  Kenneth was a bookeeper for a garage.  They had a daughter age 2.  They had an additional two children in the ensuing years.  Helen is shown below with her oldest daughter in 1940, and at right with all her children in 1947.

Helen died 13 Nov 1979 in Missoula County, Montana.  Her last residence was in Missoula, Missoula.  Funeral services were held 16 Nov 1979 at the First Congregational Church in Mott, North Dakota, the Rev. Ronald Nuss-Warren officiating.  She is buried in the Sunnyslope Cemetery, Mott, North Dakota.
