Notes: Charles Young was born in Mar 1944 in the state of New York. His parents had been
born in Germany. He married Louise in 1868. In 1880, he and Louise
were living at 47 Crawford Street, Newark, Essex, New Jersey. They had three
children, namely, Lydia, Ella and Walter. Charles was
in the jewelry business, polishing jewelry. In 1900, the family was living at
124 Miller Street in Newark. Lydia had moved out, but Charles was still single and
living at home. Ella had married Edward Baldwin, and the couple was living with
