Notes: Owen Walker, 21, of Pioche, and Adeline Craw, 18, applied for their marriage license in
Lincoln County, Nevada on 15 Jan 1916. According to family reports, they were married the next day,
16 Jan 1916, in Pioche, Lincoln, Nevada. When Owen registered for the World War I draft in 1917,
they were living in Pioche and had one child. He was a stationery and mechanical engineer for the Nevada
Coffee Co., in Bristol, Nevada.
In the 1920 U.S. census, Owen and Adeleen were living on Main Street, Pioche. Owen was a stationery
engineer for a silver mining company. Their two children were Ellen, born in Mar 1917, and Owen,
Dec 1919. In the 1930 U.S. census, Pioche, their family was complete, with the addition of Wanda,
born in Jan 1922, Audrey, Apr 1924, and William. Owen was a laborer in the mining industry.
In the 1940 U.S. census, Pioche, Owen and Adleen had four children still living at home. Owen was
a waiter mechanic in a lead zinc mine, and his son Craw, now 20, was an underground miner. They
owned their own home, value $2,000. When Owen registered for the old man's draft in 1942, he was
employed by the Combined Metals Red. Co., Pioche, Nevada.
Owen died 16 Mar 1962 in North Las Vegas, Clark, Nevada. Adleen died 6 Sep 1980 in Las Vegas,
Clark, Nevada. They are buried in the I.O.O.F. and Masonic Cemetery, Pioche, Lincoln, Nevada.
