Had a heart attack,4x bypass surgery. 1984-1998: Moved company to Rancho Santa Fe CA: continued development/design/const. mgt.; expert witness in design & construction for attorney-clients in 3 states. 1999-present: returned to Michigan, where sons had remained; continue private practice in Architecture and Planning; presently Consulting Planner, Spring Lake Township, MI. HONORS AND AWARDS: Amherst: shared the "Heisey Prize in Fine Arts" with Maury Childs. MIT: Tau Beta Pi, (engineers' equivalent to Phi Beta Kappa).
