"Art" Romandy, former area development director for the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, has joined the staff of the San Bernardino County Economic Development Department as industrial development coordinator, according to Arthur H. Gross, department director. — — — — — Romandy is a graduate of UCLA with degrees in political science and business administration. He has also attended the Industrial Development Institute of the American Industrial Development Council. He is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, instructing reserve officer classes in a branch of the Army Command and General Staff College. The new Industrial Coordinator is a native Californian, having been born in Los Angeles in 1925 to parents who were one of the three original families in the "new" town of Alhambra in 1879. Romandy is married and the father of four children. | ||||
