Notes: Jim and Emily were wed at the residence of the bride's mother on St. Clair Street
in Point Edward at 3 P.M. on Wednesday, 27 Dec 1905. The
wedding march was played and the bride was beautifully attired in white ivory silk
worst, chiffon trimmings over blue travelling gown, carrying a boquet of white
roses. It was a quiet but very pretty wedding, as Miss Emma Florence, the
youngest daughter of the late Mr. William Beasley, was united in marriage to Mr. James
Edward Hancock of Toronto, formerly of Forest, by Rev. A. M. Culloch, of Point Edward,
in the presence of a few relatives and friends. After partaking of a sumptuous
wedding breakfast the bride and groom went east to visit friends at Forest, London,
and other places, after which they resided in Toronto, Ontario. |
