Notes: In the summer of 1860, John & Elizabeth Staheli were enumerated in Douglas County,
Nebraska, with their daughter Susanna, age 30 years, and two young children, Sebastian
Staheli, age 5 years, and John Staheli, age 4 years. The relationship is unknown.
Douglas County was the starting point for the Mormons' trek across the plains to
Salt Lake City. The Staheli family had been supplied with a wagon and oxen.
John was listed as a watchmaker.
