Notes: In the 1927 and 1928 Seattle, Washington, City Directory, William and Greta
Detwiller are listed at 3711 Cambridge, Seattle. William was a Vice President
of Columbia Finance Corp. In 1928, their daughter, E. Jane, was listed also, as
a stenographer for C.P. Cox Corp.
In the 1930 USA census, William (Will) and Greta Detwiller were living at 9281 46 Ave.
S.W., Seattle, Washington. Their two daughters were living with them.
William was a salesman of stocks and bonds. Their oldest daughter Elizabeth,
age 19 was a stenographer, and daughter Eloise, age 16, was not working.
They are listed in the 1929 and 1930 Seattle, Washington, City Directory,
as living here for two years. In 1929, William was listed as a salesman
for R.H Johnston & Co. In 1930, he is listed as a field man for the
Petroleum Technical Bureau.
In the 1931 Seattle, Washington, City Directory, William and Greta are listed at
3940 W. Rose. William was a salesman for Western General Corp. Jane was a
stenographer for BM&T. Greta died 7 Oct 1931. |
