In the 1920 U.S. census, H.W. Dyer, 35, and his wife Bella M. Dyer, 28, were living in
School District 9, Lewis and Clark, Montana. Harry was working on his own account
in the dairy industry. They were renting their residence. The children were
Wilson H., 8, and Marjorie E., 5, both attending school Also in the household was
Oliver J.R. Dyer, 22, a ranch hand. Their daughter Inez Grace Dyer was born 2 Jul
1920 in Helena, Lewis and Clark, Montana.
In the 1930 U.S. census, Harry W. Dyer, 46, and his wife Isabell M. Dyer, 38, were living
in the Antelope Twp., Los Angeles, California. Harry was an alfalfa farmer, working
on his own account. They owned the farm, but did not have a radio set. The children
were Marjorie I., 16, and Inez G., 9, both attending school.
In the 1940 U.S. census, Harry W. Dyer, 55, and his wife Isabel M. Dyer, 48, were living on
Route 1, in the Antelope Twp., Los Angeles, California. Harry was a farmer and
employer. They owned their residence, valued at $600., the same residence as in
1935. Harry had completed 4 years of high school and Isabel 3 years.
In 1942 when Harry wilson Dyer Senior, 58, registered for the World War II Draft
(the "old men's registration"), he was self-employed. He and his wife Isabel
were living at Ave J and 20th St. East, Antelope Twp., Los Angeles, California.
