Notes: In the 1940 U.S. census, Frank V. Carr, 21, and his wife Inez Carr, 19, were living at
1011 N. Spazier Avenue, Burbank, Los Angeles, California. They owned their home with
a value of $4,000. Frank had completed 2 years of college and was an office clerk
for an aircraft manufacturing firm. He had earned $950 in the prior year. Inez
had completed one year of high school.
Frank Vernon Carr, 21, registered for the WWII draft on 16 Oct 1940. He was living
in Burbank with his wife Inez Grace Carr, and employed by Lockheed Aircraft. He was
described as 5'10" tall, 160 lbs., of light complexion with blue eyes and brown hair.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army on 18 Jul 1944, and described his occupation at the time
as a foreman in manufacturing.
Frank and Inez had one son, Frank Steven Carr.
