Notes: In the 1910 U.S. census, Floyd Albert Donelson, age 5, was living with his father
H. Albert Donelson, a widow, at 75 Barrett Avenue, Jamestown, Chatauqua, New York.
The head of the household was Ella Garfield, his maternal grandmother. Also in the
household was her son Joseph Garfield, age 16, and her father, Wm. Northrup.
H. Albert was the head of Donelson Trucking and Storage Co., Inc.
In the 1915 New York State census, Floyd was 10 years old. His father H. Albert had
remarried, his wife's name Annie. In the 1920 U.S. census, the family had
moved to 69 Barrett Avenue, Jamestown. In the 1925 New York State census,
the family is still at 69 Barrett Avenue, and Floyd is listed as a college student.
In the 1926 Jamestown, New York, City Directory, Floyd is listed as a student,
and in 1928 as a clerk.
In later years, Floyd and his wife Grace rented the residence at 75 Barrett Avenue, and
then moved in with his father at 69 Barrett Avenue. |
