Notes: In the 1916 Canada census of Saskatchewan, Marion Fielder, 32, and his wife
Eva Fielder, 33, both born in the United States, were living in Spalding, Twp. 38, Range 18, W2,
Saskatchewan. The family had immigrated from the United States in 1912, and Marion was
farming on his own account. The children were Charlet, 10, Robert, 9, Hellen, 8, Marvin E., 6,
Fait, 4, all born in the United States, and Wilma 5 months, born in Saskatchewan. The family
was identified as Christian.
In the 1916 Canada census, Spalding, Saskatchewan, Marion, 36, and Eva, 27, were still farming.
The children were Charlotte, 15, student, Robert, 14, student, Lorne, 13, Marion E., 11, Faith, 9,
Wilma, 5, and Garnett, 2. The youngest two children had been born in Saskatchewan; the rest
of the family became naturalized citizens in 1916. The family was identified as Bible Students.
