Notes: In the 1900 U.S. census, N. Hyrum Craw, 28, born Dec 1871 in California, and his wife
M. Ellen Craw, born Mar 1872 in Utah, were living on 2nd West Street in Minersville, Beaver, Utah.
He was a day laborer. They had been married eight years, and Ellen had had six chuildren, only one
of who was living. That was Adleen Craw, 3, born Feb 1897 in Minnersville, Utah.
Two more daughters were born in Utah. These were Charlotte M. Craw and Therma I. Craw. The family
moved to Pioche, Lincoln, Nevada. Their son Frank was born in 1914 in Pioche. Hyrum died
3 Jan 1916 in Pioche. Following the death of Hyrum in 1916, the family returned to Utah.
In the 1920 U.S. census, May, 47, now a widow, was living in Minersville, Beaver, Utah. She owned the
residence free of mortgage. Her children were Melba, 16, housekeeper for a private family, Thurma, 13,
and Frank, 5.
