Notes: In the 1940 USA census, Frances Smith, 15, was living with her family at 123 Oakcrest,
San Antonio, Bexar, Texas. Her father had died and her mother, Annie Smith, 53 was now head of
household. Her siblings were Sidney, 33, house painter; Woodrow, 25, watch repairer; Ruth, 23,
city typist; Julie, 20, and Marianne, 18. Everyone had completed four years of high school, except
Frances who had completed one year.
In the 1950 USA census, Frances Smith, 25, was now the only one still at home with her mother, Annie, 66.
Frances was a bookkeeper for the City Water Company.
