Notes: Andrew Kenneth Noble was born 25 May 1906 in North Dakota. He was known by his middle name. His parents were Andrew Franklin Noble and Nellie S. Griswold. His older sister Vida was born in Jul 1902, and older brother Maurice in Jul 1904. In the 1910 U.S. census, the family was living in the New England Twp., Hettinger, North Dakota. His younger sister Nellie was born in Jan 1911, and younger sister Virginia in Mar 1915. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
In the 1915 North Dakota State census and 1920 U.S. census, Kenneth was living with his
entire family in the Village of Mott, Hettinger, North Dakota. By the 1925 North
Dakota State census, only Vida had left home. Kenneth's father, the Hettinger County Auditor, died in 1927. In the 1930 U.S census Kenneth was living with his mother and sister Virginia, in Mott, Hettinger. He was also an auditor for the County of Hettinger. Kenneth married Helen Eckholm sometime in the mid 1930's. In the 1940 U.S. census, he and Helen were living in Mott. Kenneth had completed 4 years of high school. He was now a bookeeper for a garage, and had earned $1300. in the prior year. Helen was the deputy treasurer for the County of Hettinger. They had a daughter age 2. They had an additional two children in the ensuing years. Kenneth is shown below with his son in in 1948. In August 1951, according to the diary of his Aunt Mary Noble, Kenneth crushed his leg in an automobile accident. He broke it again in February 1952. Kenneth's wife Helen died 13 Nov 1979, in Missoula County, Montana. Kenneth died 10 Jul 1983, in Richland County, Montana. His last residence was in Fairview, Richland. The funeral services were held 14 Jul 1983 in the Fulkerson Memorial Chapel, Sidney, Montana. Father Ned Shinnick officiated. He was buried alongside his wife later that day in the Sunnyslope Cemetery in Hettinger, North Dakota, the Rev. Ted Huffman officiating. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
