Notes: Ida Louise Jacobus was born 4 Feb 1870 to James W. and Harriet E. Jacobus.
In the 1870 U.S. census, Ida was four months old and living with her parents, her
grandparents, George and Deborah Baldwin, and her uncle and aunt, Daniel and Evelena
Baldwin, in the Caldwell Township of Essex, New Jersey. In the 1880 U.S. census,
the family was living in Caldwell in their own home. She had a sister, Ella May,
then 4 years old. Ida died at the age of 26, on 11 Jul 1896. No family records mention her cause of death. She is buried in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Caldwell, New Jersey, with a grave marker shared with her later deceased parents. | ||||
