Notes: Arville Lazell Walker was born 14 Sep 1902 in Panaca, Lincoln, Nevada. He was the
fifth child of Francis Clemens Walker, Jr., and Harriet Ellen Wadsworth. His older siblings were
Owen Francis, born in 1896, Harold Rumell in 1897, Eola in 1899, and Faye in 1900. His younger
brother was Clemons Elmer, born in 1909. In the 1910 U.S. census, Arville was living with his family in Pioche, Lincoln, Nevada. His father Francis was a mechanical engineer. The children were all in school except for the baby Clemons. His brother Earl Wadsworth was born in 1914, and sister Irene in 1919. In the 1920 U.S. census, Pioche, Arville, 17, was a stationery engineer in a silver mine. He had gone to work in the mines at age 14. His father Francis was a stationery engineer in a butcher shop. Also still at home were Rummell, 22, a clerk in retail merchandise; Clemons, 10, attending school; Earl, 5; and Irene, 4 months. Arville married Grace Marguerite Lewis on 1 Jun 1925 in Overton, Clark, Nevada. Their son Lionell Arville was born in 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their daughter Rosalie was born in 1928 in Mindon, Douglas, Nevada. In the 1930 U.S. census, Arville and Grace and their children were living on County Road, Pioche, Lincoln, Nevada. They owned their residence with a value of $500. Arville was a hoisting engineer in the mining industry. Their daughter Rosalie died in 1930. Three more daughters were born to the family. These included Marguerite, Carol, and Darlene. According to family sources, Carol was born in 1932 in Cedar City, Iron, Utah, and died in 1933 in St. George, Washington, Utah. In the 1940 U.S. census, Pioche, the family was living in the same house as in 1935. Arville, 37, was a hoisting engineer in a lead zinc mine. Their children were Lionell, Marguerite, and Darlene. Arville had completed 1 year of high school. Arville retired in 1967 from Reynolds Electric where he was an operating engineer. At some point in time, Arville and Grace moved to Henderson, Clark, Nevada. Arville died 15 Jan 1984 at their home in Henderson.
