Notes: Clair Albert Robison was born 27 Oct 1930 in Hinckley, Millard, Utah.
He was the ninth and youngest child of George Albert Robison and Laura Barbara Walker.
His father George was a farmer. Her older siblings were sister Nella born in 1911,
brother Benjamin J. born in 1915, sister Ruth born in 1920, brother George Almon born in 1922,
brother Francis W. born in 1927, and sister Barbara born in 1929. A sister Ava Leah,
born in 1913, had died in 1914, and a brother Alden, born in 1909, died of influenza in 1926. In the 1940 U.S. census, Clair was living with his family in Hinckley, Millard, Utah. His father George was a farmer. The children at home were Ruth, 19, who had completed one year of college and was doing farm labor; G. Almon, 18, three years of high school, doing farm labor; Francis, 12, 6th grade; Barbara 10, 4th grade; and Clair A., 9, 3rd grade. About 1943, Clair's family moved to Salt Lake City, living at 2124 Green. Clair graduated from the University of Utah, and served a mission in California for the LDS Church in 1952. Clair married Grace Darlene Christensen (known as Darlene) on 11 Aug 1952 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. He was drafted into the US Army and served during the Korean War. In 1954 they were living in Tacoma, Washington. They returned to Salt Lake City, where Clair was a salesman for Uarco Business Forms in 1957. Clair and Darlene moved to California, where their long time residence was in San Jose, Santa Clara County. Clair was a rep and manager in various business and answering system companies, including his own. They raised a family of five children. Clair died 8 Oct 2013 in San Jose, Santa Clara, California. Funeral services were held 14 Oct 2013 in the LDS Church in San Jose. His burial place is not known. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
