Notes: John Everett Baisley and Viola May Page were married 14 Jan 1938, probably in Alhambra,
California. The 1939 Alhambra City Directory lists the couple living at 39
North Second Street. He was a lumber worker. In the 1940 U.S. census,
they were living at 105 North Second Street, Alhambra, and John was listed as a
machine operator at a lumber mill. This became their long time residence.
In the Voter Registrations records the couple are registered as Republican.
John and Viola had three daughters. They are shown at right at the marriage
of one of their daughters in 1965. John died 27 Feb 1989 in Alhambra,
the city where he was born. He is buried in Rose Hills
Memorial Park, Whittier,
California. Buried next to him is a daughter, Deborah Lee Baisley. Her
headstone indicates she was born in 1958 and died in
2010. Viola died 22 November 2012, and was buried next to her husband and daughter
at Rose Hills. |
