"ANOTHER PLEASANT PARTY." The "Inseparable H's" entertained
their friends with a delightful party at Parish Hall last Thursday evening,
June 22. The hall was beautifully decorated with palms, smilax and roses.
Games, music, and dancing were indulged in until a late hour. The
refreshments were served under direction of McCamenti of Pasadena.
Those present were: Mesdantes DeCamp and Donahue, Misses Edith Hill,
Jeanette Green, Mary and Amy Noble
of Los Angeles; Alice DeCamp, Genevieve Stroud,
Mary Weeks, Louise DeCamp, Ida Olson, Helen Weeks,
Josie Olson, Mary Lewis of Los Angeles;
Messrs. Henry Olson, Harry Lane, Clarence Williams, Howard Wayne,
Clarence and Walter Lattin, of Los Angeles; Joseph Winsor, Dr. Charles Dura Blackburn,
Will Gastrich of Los Angeles; Chas. Baker of Pasadena.
"A PLEASANT PICNIC PARTY." A merry party of picnickers visited Big Santa Anita
Canon last Saturday afternoon. A dainty lunch was contributed by the young ladies, after
which some of the young men took a vigorous climb far up into the canon. In the evening
a camp fire was built, around which all sat, enjoying singing, and conversation until the moon
came up sufficiently to light them out of the canon. Those present were Misses Ella Bean,
Georgia Jaques, Madge DeCamp, Estella Wallace, Essie Kavanaugh, Alice DeCamp, Mary Weeks,
Jeanette Green, and Messrs. Lawrence Dimmitt, Walter Wallace, Harry Lane, Duncan Reynolds,
Will McGee, Joe Winsor, Henry Olson and Dura Blackburn. |
