Las Artistas, active club comprising women painters, will be introduced to the Mayas of Yucatan at their October 22 meeting, to be held in the California Art Club. For the afternoon, program chairman Jean Harman has arranged for the well known artist Gounod Romandy to paint a demonstration picture. "Paintings That Will Add Charm" are being exhibited at the Frances Webb Galleries, 2511 W. Seventh St., according to Mrs. Webb. Landscapes, still lifes and protrait studies are being shown. Among the exhibitors are . . . Gounod Romandy . . . . Goumandy Memorial The Frances Webb Gallery, 2511 W. Seventh St., will open tomorrow an exhibit of paintings by the late Gounod Romandy. He was equally well known here as painter and musician. Colorful landscapes, the subjects often found in the high Sierra, are to be featured in the exhibit, which will continue through Nov. 28. | ||||
