Mrs. Andrew (Isabel) Detwiller Obituary
| Mrs. Andrew Detwiller Mrs. Andrew (Isabel) Detwiller died in the local hospital Thurs. Jul. 13, 1961. She was 80 years old. The funeral was in the Pres. Ch. here Monday, the Rev. H. R. Senecal officiating. She was born Feb. 26, 1881 at St. Mary's Ont. Can. and came to Griggs Co. in 1902. She was married to Andrew M. Detwiller Mar 25, 1903. They farmed north of Cooperstown. Mrs. Detwiller was a member of the Pres. Ch and its Ladies Aid, was a member of Eastern Star for several years and belonged to the Tyrol Homemakers club. She is survived by two sons, Harold of Elk Mound, Wis. and Ronald of Cooperstown, a daughter, Mrs. Elmer D. (Vivian) Smith of Orem, Utah, a half sister, Mrs. Edith McIntosh, St. Mary's, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Her husband died in Feb 1937, a grandson, Andy Bill in 1943 and a daughter, Mrs. Ray Kent in May, 1958. |
