William Henry (Bill) Detwiller Obituary
| William Henry (Bill) Detwiller. The funeral for William H. Detwiller, 63, Cooperstown, N.D. will be held at 11:00 Thurs. May 7 in Trinity Lutheran Church. Visitation will there from 11 to 9 today in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home. He died Tues May 5, 1987. Mr. Detwiller was born Mar. 31, 1924, near Cooperstown where he grew up and attended school. He served in the U.S. Army of Occupations in Japan and Korea, He married Betty Knapp June 15, 1951. After Military service he returned to Cooperstown where he operated a Standard Oil Co. bulk dealership. He owned the business for 32 years. He retired in Jan. He is survived by his wife; a son and a daughter, Ricky, Bottineau, N.D. and Mary MacMillan, McVille, N.D. a brother and two sisters, Patrick, Fargo, Mary Evelyn Palzkill, Mineral Point, Wis. and Catherine Zimprich, Aneta, N.D. and two grandchildren. |
