| Karl Alma Peterson PRICE - - Karl Alma Peterson, 79, Carbon County's Mr. Senior Citizen, died Jan 11, 1981. Born July 13, 1901, Hinckley, Millard County, to Niels Alma and Annie Walker Peterson. Married Ethel Startup Aug. 30, 1922 in Salt Lake LDS Temple. Founder of Peterson Distribution Co., Inc., Price, executive director of Carbon County senior citizens program for eight years, member of Utah State Board of Aging, served as counselor to two bishops of Price 3rd LDS Ward. Survivors: two sons, Richard S., Price; James Max, American Fork; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Verda Ballschweiler, Clara Bulluck, Zella Michie, Elaine Rasmussen; four brothers, Laurence, Owen, Vern and Leon. Proceeded in death by daughter, Rosa Lee Bell, and son, Edwin Karl. Those who wish may send contributions to Primary Children's Hospital in his name in lieu of flowers. Funeral Thursday 1 p.m. at Price 6th LDS Ward chapel. Viewing Wednesday 7 - 9 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary. Burial at Price City Cemetery. |
