Elma Anderson Larsen MT PLEASANT - Funeral services for Mrs. Elma Anderson Larsen, 22, will be conducted by Bishop A. L. Peterson at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the South ward L.D.S. chapel. Dr. M. Lynn Bennion of the L.D.S. church board of education will be one of the speakers at the services. Internment will be in the Mt. Pleasant City cemetery, directed by Jacobs funeral home." Friends may call at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Anderson, 313 South Second West street, Monday evening and Tuesday until time of services. Mrs. Larsen, a daughter of Principal A. H. Anderson of the Mt. Pleasant L.D.S. seminary and Mrs. Ella Shepard Anderson, died in a Salt Lake hospital Saturday afternoon from complications following the birth of a daughter on May 24. She was born in Mona, July 4, 1916, and lived in Mt. Pleasant since 1919. She was graduated from North Sanpete high school and later attended Snow college, Brigham Young university and Utah State Agricultural college. She was affiliated with the Les Cecillennes social unit at the B.Y.U. She was married in Manti L.D.S. temple, September 22, 1937, to Rex A. Larsen of Fairview, and lived in Provo and Logan since her marriage. Surviving are her husband, her parents, and infant daughter, Cheryl; four brothers, H. Reese, Ross S., Ralph and Keith Andersen, all of Mt. Pleasant, and a grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Shephard of Mona. |
