DEATH: NELLA ROBISON JACKSON
Nella Robison Jackson, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, age 85,
died September 19, 1996 at Provo.
Born September 8, 1911 at Hinckley to
George Albert and Laura Barbara Walker Robison. Married
Bernard Roberton Jackson September 8, 1933 at Las Vegas. Later solemnized in Manti LDS Temple.
Graduated from Hinckley Academy and BYU. Teaching certificate in nutrition and elementary education.
Taught first and second grade at Sutherland. Life focused on husband and family. Excellent cook,
seamstress and homemaker. Served as voting registration agent in Sutherland. Faithful member LDS
Church serving diligently in various callings, including Relief Society President, counselor, secretary,
organist. Especially loved being Primary organist. Survived by husband, Sutherland; sons,
Robert (Ruth), Lon (Nedra), LeRay (Vicki), Steven (Debra), all Sutherland; daughter, Barbara (Scott) Callister,
Ephraim; 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth
(Bob) Allsop, Barbara (Herb)
Ungricht, both Salt Lake City; brothers, Ben (Manon)
Robison, St. George; Francis (Bev) Robison, Kaysville;
Clair (Darlene) Robison, San Jose, California; Sister-in-law, Nedra (Almon)
Robison, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by sister, Ava Leah; brothers,
Alden V., Almon.
Funeral services Monday, September 23, 1996, 11 a.m., Sutherland First LDS Ward. Friends may call on
Sunday, 7-8 p.m. at Nickle Mortuary, 190 South Center, Delta, and 10-10:45 a.m. at the Church. Burial:
Sutherland Cemetery.
