Notes: The September 1880 term began with less than a dozen pupils.
T. M. Williams worked there and James became principal in that year.
By 1888, enrollment had grown to 1,403 students and the faculty to 30
teachers. Harmon died in March of that year and James was president.
T. M. had moved to on become president of Actual Business College.
James was listed as president in a 1896 Business Directory.
