Alcester, Dorset. Thomas was a temperance missionary for the Dorset Temperance Association.
Their children were Henry P., 4, George J., 3, and Frank T., 1.
Thomas and Mary Anne moved frequently, and their children were all born in different
locations. They most probably resided at the following locations during the years
indicated:

- 1868: Poole, Dorset, England

- 1872: Ross'nhill, Devonshire, England
Their daughter Fannie was born on 30 Jun 1872 at Ross'nhill. Their son Henry P.
died in May 1873 at 6 years of age. The Thomas Hancock family permanently left England from Bristol
and arrived at the Port of New York, New York, on 9 May 1873. |
