Notes: Lillian was born with the name Elizabeth, but soon became known as
Lillian or Lillie. In 1901, Lillie was 27 years old, single, and living at her parent's farm in Bosanquet, Lambton County, Ontario, with nine of her younger brothers and sisters. Ten years later, in 1911, she was still living at the family farm. ![]() Lillie was kicked and her foot stepped on while she milked a cow in the late 1920s. She was hence crippled for the rest of her life. Lillie never married and died three years after the photo below was taken — and three weeks after her 82nd birthday. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
