Notes:  Lillian was born with the name Elizabeth, but soon became known as Lillian or Lillie. In 1901, Lillie was 27 years old, single, and living at her parent's farm in Bosanquet, Lambton County, Ontario, with nine of her younger brothers and sisters.  Ten years later, in 1911, she was still living at the family farm. Lillie was the Postmaster of the Jura Post Office in Lambton County from 15 Jan 1906 until 31 May 1913 when that Post Office was closed.  The photograph at the right shows Lillie (the second person from the left) and the Jura Post Office within the Catt family's home (see the window to the Left of Louise).  During those years Lillie drove the mail from the Catt family's home (later occupied by the Hodgson family) to the Jericho Corner Post Office which was kept by George and Rosie Catt (Lillie's brother and sister-in-law). Lillie was kicked and her foot stepped on while she milked a cow in the late 1920s.  She was hence crippled for the rest of her life.  Lillie never married and died three years after the photo below was taken — and three weeks after her 82nd birthday.
