Notes: In 1881 Edwin (age 25) worked with his brother
William Henry Palmer
(age 31) as a draper, tailor, and outfitter. Edwin resided at
London House in Ilminster parish of Somerset, England.
The 7-person household there consisted of William, William's new wife
Christian, Edwin, two assistants, a cousin
Robert John Pullman age 10, and a servant. Edwin passed away in 1916 at the age of 62. His grave marker is unusual in that it also records the deaths and ages of Edwin's three younger sisters:
