Notes: Andrew and Annie Noble emmigrated to the United States in 1884, and settled in
Ontario, San Bernardino County, with their two sons James and Ralph. Their third
son Charles was born in 1888. In 1900, Andrew and Annie were living with
two sons, Ralph and Charles, on North Euclid Avenue in Ontario. There
were two boarders, Issac C. Woods and his wife Emma A., married
for 25 years. It is not known where James was living.
In the 1910 USA census, their home is identified as being on Euclid Avenue,
Ontario. The census indicates "no numbers" for that part
of Euclid Avenue. Andrew and Annie are living alone, except for a
boarder, Margarie (sp?) Ferguson, widowed.
The California Voter registration for Andrew Noble gives the address as "Euclid, between
G and H, Ontario". Ontario was very rural at that time. The photograph
at right shows Andrew out by the citrus groves, feeding his chickens. |
