Notes: The family farm of Andrew and Isabel Detwiller was located 4½ miles north of
Cooperstown, in Tyrol Twp., Griggs County, North Dakota. In the 1910 U.S. census, the
household consisted of Andrew, 28, and Isabel, 29, their three oldest children, Harold, 7,
Myrtle, 5, and Vivian, 1, and a farm laborer, Alfred Larson, 23. Andrew was a
grain farmer.
In the 1915 South Dakota census, shortly after the birth of their last child Ronald, the
family was enumerated as living in Cooperstown on the specific day of 1 April 1915.

By the 1930 U.S. census, only Vivian and Ronald were living on the farm with their
parents. Andrew died 8 Feb 1937. In the 1940 U.S. census, only Ronald was
living with his mother on the farm. |
