Notes: In 1870, Jacob and Barbara Graf were living with their five children in Santa Clara,
Utah. Jacob was a farmer, and he and his family were converts to the LDS Church.
Originally from Switzerland, they had sailed on the ship Emerald Isle from Liverpool,
England, arriving in Williamsberg, New York in 1859. They crossed the plains with
their three oldest children in the company led by J. Murphy, arriving in Utah on 30
Aug 1860. In 1861, they had arrived in Santa Clara with the Swiss company.
Additional children were born in Utah. |
