Notes: According to family sources, John Traugott Graf married Emma Barbara Graf on 10 May 1881, in St. George, Utah. They were distant cousins. They moved up the Virgin River to Littlefield, Arizona, where their first daughter, Lillian Emma was born 21 Feb 1882. They returned to Santa Clara, Utah, where their second daughter Hilda Barbara was born 29 Aug 1883. John was injured by a mule in July 1884, and died of those injuries 18 Aug 1884.
