Notes: This was the residence of Louis H. and Dorothy Wittnebert in the 1930 U.S. census.
They had two children, Dorothy age 5 years and Louis age 2. Louis Sr. was an auto
mechanic working in a garage. They lived next door to his parents, Henry and Emma,
probably next to the original Wittnebert farm. Their daughter Dorothy died
in 1933. In the 1940 U.S. census, they were in the same house, now valued at
$4,500. Their son Louise, Jr. was age 12. |
