Notes: According to family sources, Daniel Florence Sullivan was born 26 Aug 1882 in Boston, Suffolk,
Massaschusetts to Florry Sullivan and Mary Jane Watson. Geneva Bell Bocker was born 24 Nov 1889 to
Joseph Bocker and Mary Roxena Dodge. They were married 26 Sep 1905 in Mammoth, Juab, Utah.
In the 1920 U.S. census, the Sullivan family was living in Genola, Utah, Utah. Daniel
Sullivan, 37, born in Massaschusetts and of Irish descent, was a general farmer, farming on his own account.
The farm was owned with a mortgage. His wife Geneva, 30, born in Utah and was half Swedish.
The children were Robert F., 13, Sheldon J., 11, Daniel W., 8, Geo E., 5, and Elmo, 2, all born in Utah.
In the 1930 U.S. census, the family was living on North Genola District Road. Dan F., 48, was still a
general farmer, and his wife Geneva B., 40, had had two additional children. The children at home were
Sheldon J., 21, working on the farm, Dannie W., 18, George E., 16, Elmo, 13, Eurilda L., 4, the only daughter,
and Eugene J., 5 months.
In the 1940 U.S. census, Genola, Daniel, 58, was still farming on the same land as in 1935, valued at $400.
He had completed 5th grade. Geneva B., 50, had completed 8th grade. The children at home were Elmo, 23,
9th grade, who was working on the farm, Eurilda, 15, one year of high school, and Eugene, 11, 6th grade.
Their last residence was in Payson, Utah, Utah. Daniel died 8 Jun 1967 and Geneva died 18 Feb 1968.
Both are buried in the Payson City Cemetery, Payson, Utah, Utah. |
