Notes: In the 1930 U.S. census, Timothy Hoyt, 34, and his wife Lela, 22, both born in Utah, were living
on Third North in Hurricane, Washington, Utah. They were enumerated next to her parents
Maurice and Wilhelmina Hinton. Timothy was a sheep stockman working on his own
account. They owned the farm, and had a radio. Timothy had been 28 at the time of their marriage,
and Lela, 19. Their daughter Alice was 1 year, 3 months.
In the 1930 U.S. census, Timothy Hoyt, 44, and his wife Lela, 32, were living on the same farm as in 1935,
in Hurricane, Washington, Utah. They owned their farm, valued at $2000. Timothy was a hack driver
in agriculture, working on his own account. He had completed 8th grade. Lela had completed 4 years
of high school. Their children were Alice, 11, and T. Hal, 7. They were enumerated next to her
parent's and her brother Vernet Hinton's farms.
